My dear Derek,

I think I told you I wrote a children's
story while in Waldshut.

Heres a carbon of it. Would you be
so kind as to make any comments or
criticisms that occur to you ? It's my
first effort in this genre but please
don't be kind (or too cruel).

Any similarity between the 2 main
characters and living persons are is purely
coincidental. Ahem!

Love to you both -
Robert

Hope you aren't flooded in Seaford!
