They got temporarily mislaid I fear.\nHowever, I have found them in a drawer and am hastening to\nrectify my lamentable omission. I do hope you will forgive\nme. I think they turned out quite well.\n\nI have had letters from John D. and I understand he\nis coming back to Ireland this summer. What Joan and his\nfuture plans will be God only knows - because I do not!\n\nI have an idea nevertheless that he will settle in Ireland\nbecause Ireland is a good country to settle in, he has plenty\nof friends here, and his writing market is mostly here. I\nwill be delighted, of course, to have him around.\n\nI understand that Eve has become engaged to the young\nman whom I think she was nearly engaged to before - the\nProfessor's son - but I am very vague about young men I do\nnot know.\n\nI hope you are all well in your distant island.\n\nAnyhow please excuse this brief note as I am just back from a\nlong trip to the West of Ireland doing programmes on the\nfamous poet - W.B. Yeats - whose centenary it is.\n\nWith very best wishes to you and your family,\n\nYours sincerely,\n\nMrs. Margaret Barwick,\nJudge's Residence,\nBairiki,\nTarawa,\nGilbert and Ellice Island Colony,\nWEST PACIPIC OCEAN\n","Type":"Text"}}]
