Thank you vary much for sending me First Person.
It really is a posh production. I agree Americans
can do this kind of thing well. I got your A Sweet
Mouse-Trotting Cup copied and if I can insert it in
any programme I will do so. I liked your photograph
too - it reminds me' of young Gide (certainly not a
father of ten!) I think it’s the dome. Do you know
the work of a friend of mine called Bill Naughton? -
your face reminds me a little of him - he’s an Irishman
from Mayo whom MacGib on and Kee publishes. Get hold
of his A Small Boy, if you can, and tell me what you
think of it.
Gorry you missed the broadcast but hope the fee
has caught up with you, Roy McFadden and I send you
our greetings.
I liked the Stendhal Memories of a Tourist. He
really was something, old Henri.
